Peacock Precision - Past Projects

Being a small, family owned business, allows John Peacock Precision Engineering to work closely with clients on one-off projects and deliver attention to detail and customer satisfaction that larger companies find hard to match. Working with a wide variety of materials and techniques allows us to see a project through from start to finish.

Shown below are two examples which give a flavour of the projects that the company has worked on in the past.

Church Clock

Dating from 1897 this church clock was saved from the demolition of a church in Bingley, Yorkshire.

Obviously many parts that were worn or damaged needed replacing, and there is no alternative but to remake the parts from scratch.

Sundial Cannon

On a smaller scale, we were asked to produce a replica of a very rare `sundial canon` for a client.

To comply with Firearms Regulations, the end of the cannon barrel is not drilled through so the cannon cannot be fired.
